Haomen Building is conveniently located at Minsheng Road, Yuzhong District, which is the central business district and just opposite JW Marriot Hotel and the future Chongqing IFC - an international grade A composite building.
Chongqing is the major industrial and commercial centre, communication hub and inland port in the southwest China and the leading city in the Go West policy. It is expected that Chongqing will be a strategically important market for foreign investors and developers especially after it was upgraded to Pilot Reform City in June 2007.
The building is intended to be redeveloped into a Ginza-type commercial centre with upscale food and retail outlets. It has a GFA of 13,000 square metres.
The Group disposed of this building in its existing condition in 2011.
