SOCAM continuously innovates with new construction technologies to improve construction productivity, quality, safety, and environmental performance.
MiC is an innovative construction method adopting the concept of “factory assembly followed by on-site installation”. The purpose-built multi-welfare services complex in Kwu Tung North for the Architectural Services Department is the Group’s first project with full MiC application with an integration of green building design. We are keen to increasingly adopt MiC in upcoming projects which shall enable us to not only improve operation and energy efficiency, but also generate less construction waste.
BIM is a process of generating and managing building data during its design, construction and the building’s entire life cycle. We have a dedicated BIM team to facilitate the wider adoption of the technology in our building and interior fit-out projects. The Urban Renewal Authority Central Market Revitalisation project completed in 2021 is the first project with BIM application in full scale.
The Digital Transformation plan, steering our operations towards paperless and one-click access, aims to optimise workflow while significantly reducing paper usage and mitigating the environmental footprint.
Our employees are our greatest asset. We continuously optimise a series of human resources policies and measures to take better care of our employees’ physical and mental health. To retain talents and unleash their potential, diversified training programmes, from talent development programmes, internship to professional development courses via e-Learning platform, are provided to facilitate their career growth, and to actualize life-long learning.

Through the assessment from professional consultants, it gave me the type of mindset and career development I needed, from communication, leadership, presentation and strategic thinking, and my mentor was really helpful and supportive. It was a great experience, and my self confidence is enhanced. I look forward to contribute to the Company to a good future.
